Based on a poem by Annette Vaucanson inspired by scientist Suzanne Simard’s research on the relationships between trees, Hilbi has written an energetic song where deep bass, almost telluric drums and violin lines drawn from the fiddle tradition accompany a metamorphosis.

Singer-songwriter, performer and violinist, Hilbi makes music shaped by many horizons. Trained on the violin at the Lyon Conservatoire and marked at an early age by Mozart and Hildegard von Bingen, she explores early music as well as Irish and Scottish traditions.

Several years spent in Germany introduced her to rock and accompanied her first songs on guitar. After many musical experiences, notably with Shamrock and Zora-jeanne, Hilbi now puts her own songs first. Her voice, the violin and a deep sensitivity to nature shape a free world without musical borders.
